PlayawaysUnlike CDs, audio cassettes or downloads, Playaway does not need a separate player. Instead, a Playaway Playaway is pre-loaded with high-definition audio and ready to use— Just plug-in your headphones and listen anywhere.
Playaways are available for circulation to 4th and 5th grade students who have turned in a parent permission form to Mrs. Adams.

TumblebooksTumblebooks is a collection of online, animated books. It is geared toward younger readers, but there is content on the site appropriate all the way to 5th grade.

NISD OverDriveOverdrive is a service purchased for the entire district to allow users to check-out ebooks, audio books, music, videos, and other digital material, and use it on their Nooks, Kindles, iPhones, iPads, etc. To log in students use their student number (lunch/library number) with the S in front. OverDrive will block elementary student from checking out middle and high school books.
SORA Sora is the new mobile and desktop reading experience from OverDrive, designed with students and educators in mind. Sora is the recommended way to access your school’s digital collection. Please see below for handouts about using OverDrive with different devices.
